You have to follow the following steps to mount your VPS in repair mode in power panel

A. First you have to log-in to your Virtuzzo power panel(VZPP).

B. You can see the following page.


C. You have to choose “Maintenance” option.


D. Choose “Repair Mode” option.
E. Repairing the VPS is another way to solve the problem with the VPS functioning. In virtuozzo terminology , it is known as “Mounting the VPS in repair Mode”. It means that a new VPS is temporarily created from scratch, with the same network and other parameters as the broken VPS. And the root directory of the broken VPS is mounted as the newly created VPS.


F. To mount the VPS in repair mode, Simply click on “Run Repair”.
G. The VPS is now starting in repair mode. Thus copying all VPS files over to a new or repair directory.
H. You can now use SSH to connect to your VPS. Go to the repaired directory and attempt to fix the problem.

After you finish repairing , you have to scroll down and then you have to click on “Finish Repair” button to “unmount the VPS in repair mode”.
J. That’s it. We have just unmounted our VPS from repair mode. And the VPS is returned to the stopped state. You should now be able to see if you successfully repaired the VPS.


K. You have to click on “Top” button to return to the main screen.

You have to follow the below steps to manage your VPS hosting firewall in power panel :

A. First you have to log-in to your Virtuzzo power panel(VZPP).

B. Click on the “Firewall” option. Like the above page.
C. The firewall management page is like below. Where you can add or remove Access Rules to the firewall. Every access rule refers to a most widely used service and corresponds to a number of a standard firewall rules which assure the availability of the service.


D. To remove an access rule from firewall, you have to select one name and then select the “delete” option, which is right bottom of the page.
E. You have to select “Ok” option when you get a message “Are you sure you want to delete the selected access rule(s)?”
F. The access rule has been deleted.
G. If you want to add an access rule to the firewall, click on “Add Access Rule”. There are many access rules you can add to your firewall, including the plesk server access rule you just removed.



H.
You have to select one name(which access rule you want to add) and then select the “submit” option.

I. The access rule has been added back to your firewall.
J. Now click on the “firewall setup” button.
K. Normal mode is the best option for maximum safety in most cases. Normal mode allows you to choose from the 15 present access rules. For more complicated firewall settings, you could choose one of the two advanced firewall modes. With default policy accept or default policy drop. The advance modes take more time and experience of configure. But then there is more flexibility and potential in it.

Click on “Top” option to return to the main screen.

C. Let’s go ahead and create a VPS to click on “New Backup” option.

You have to click on “OK” when you get a message “Are you sure you want to create a new backup?”

E. As you can see in the following page that the “VPS is currently backing up”.


F. The backup is now complete and is listed here at the bottom of the page.
G. To restore your VPS from a backup. You can select it here .


H. Click on the “restore VPS” option. Which is right bottom on the page.
I. The page provides further details about the backup.

J. This page provides further details about the backup. And you can also restore your VPS from backup by clicking the “restore VPS” link option.

K. Click on “Restore” option, to confirm.
L. As you can see in the following page, The VPS is currently restoring from your backup.

M. If you are using an IP address of your VPS to connect to it, you may have to reconnect to the VPS with the IP address retrieved from the backup after the VPS is restored.
N. If you want to delete a previous made backup, then select it by clicking the following option.

O. Click on the “remove backups” option.
P. you have to select “Ok” option when you get a message “Are you sure you want to delete a new backup(s)?”.
Q. Now we successfully remove the backup which we created previously.

A. First you have to log-in to your Virtuzzo power panel(VZPP).

B. Click on the “Status changes” option. Like the above page.
C. You can find out the history of Virtual Server status changes with the following page. It also shows such changes as starting, stopping, rebooting, backing up or mounting it in repair mode.

D. If you want to find out QoS Alerts then you have to click on “QoS Alerts” option. The QoS(Quality of Service) alerts log reflects those states of your VPS when it hits limits on some hardware resource. Every time VPS consumes more of a resource than is specified by the limit on that resource or is coming close to that limit, a QoS Alert is generated and logged on the following page.


E.
Click on “Action Log” option. The action log reflects only those actions related to VPS management that were performed through your power panel(VZPP).
F. Click on the “Details” option to view more details of a specific action log, “Details” option located at the right side of the page.

G. A task details window opens. Showing the steps taken to complete the action. Then close the window with the top right corner button.

H. Click on the “top” button to return to the main screen.
